Part 2:  Measurement of liquids.  (Volume)

MATERIALS:  100 ml graduated cylinder, eye dropper, 250 beaker, 250 Erlenmeyer flask, food coloring

  1. Use a 250 beaker to pour liquid into a 100 ml graduated cylinder.  Measure 75 ml in the graduated cylinder.
     
  2. Pour the 75 ml into a 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask.
     
  3. Measure 50 ml of water into a graduated cylinder.  Put two drop of food coloring into the graduated cylinder and figure out how to mix. 
     
  4. Pour the liquid into the Erlenmeyer flask and stir.

    How could you have done this measurement better without touching the liquid?
