MATERIALS: Angle ruler, protractor, caliper, Polyconstructo shapes as listed, calculator

PROCEDURE: Use the inside shape for all your calculation; s = side; b = base; h = height; A = area, l = length; w = width
Approximate to the nearest decimal (ml)

	How many sides	Total face angles	Internal Perimeter (in cm)	Area (internal) (cm²)
Equilateral triangle b = h =				A=1/2bh
Isosceles triangle b = h =				A=1/2bh
Square s =				A=s²
Rectangle l = w =				A=lw
Pentagon b = h =				A= 5(1/2bh)
Hexagon b = h =				A= 6(1/2bh)

Note: if using a calculator ½ bh should be calculated as b x h divided by 2
