Constructing
Gardening Workstations
by Alex Hu
Troop 468
The
objective of this project is to construct two workstations on the grounds of
Tule Ponds at Tyson Lagoon, supporting the Math Science Nucleus. The workstations were built from scratch.
The project included the projects of another Eagle Scout which
include a greenhouse, tool shed, and two workstations.
The site of the structures is a 60-foot long and 18-foot wide area
located on Tule Ponds at Tyson Lagoon. The
workstation required many hours of preparation before the day of service.
With
the potting workstations and greenhouse, students can now learn the basics of
gardening and how plants grow.
The
following people helped me make this project a success including: Howard Gan,Thomas Hui,
Justin Chen, Max Zhang. Ben Chang, Winsor Chen, Yuchen Zhou, Gary Tao, Harrison Liu,
David Wang, Justin Hsu, Jonathan Ting, Eric Wen, Jaime Lai, Timothy Ho,
