PS 8
Imagine one day,
just one, without T.V. or phone or lights. It would be
terrible. Everything is science. Without science we would have
nothing, we probably couldn’t manage without science. That’s
why science is so important.
Science can be many things, from animals, to
airplanes, to gameboys. Science can be pretty much anything.
There is no end to curiosity and discovery in science. It
doesn’t matter if you made a mistake or were unsuccessful. If
you do so, don’t get discouraged, try again. Even scientists
aren’t always successful but they always try again. You can
learn from mistakes and try not to make it again. That’s how
they make discoveries.
There are many discoveries and mysteries in science,
like how to cure cancer or how the Earth was created. There are
also discoveries of Global Warming. Many scientists have come
close to the answer but didn’t get it. Scientists are always
making a difference in the world. Science has done many things
for us.
Science is fun. You can try experiments and learn
about many things. You can learn about the parts of animals by
dissecting them. You can try experiments from books. Most
experiments are fun. You may think something is disgusting, but
when you try, it is fun.
You use science everyday. There is always a bit of
science in something. Science is everywhere, everyday, at any
time. The most entertaining and useful thing is science. We
will use science forever.
We should be thankful for science, it is important.
It will always be there. Science is fun, useful, and
mysterious. All things are science. We should always
appreciate it.

PS 21
Do you know why
science is important? Science is important because you would
know a lot more than you think. Science is a way of learning
about the life, the past and future. The tools that we use
everyday are part of science.
In science
you learn about the climates and weather, the different planets,
and how far or close the sun is, about matter, electricity, and
the moon and stars.
Science is everything in your life. I bet the
scientists use the five w’s and how! Everything we use in math,
social studies, reading and gym we also use it for science.
Science is also important because there are more
things happening right now that we might be interested in.
This is why we need science. I hope you understand
at least a little bit why science is important.

PS 23
Science is very important in
our world. Science is life. We need science for
transportation, communication, and for medicine. Over the years
scientists have created inventions to improve our lives today.
Scientists have made great advances in the fields of
technology, medicine, and engineering. Scientists learned
about space, the planets, and the moon. They think of ways to
solve serious problems like pollution and preserving our natural
resources. One day scientists may learn how we can live on
other planets.
Scientists have helped us save our animals and
wildlife. Thy have made us aware of which animals can be
hunted. If that animal becomes extinct, they cannot be
replaced. Science helps us save these animals for future
generations.
We need science to live. For example, if people
continue to cut down trees, we will lose our forests. It will
have a negative effect on our environment. This is why we need
scientists and science to invent and explore even more areas
that can make us live a better and easier life. Everyone in
this world needs science in their own special way.

PS 32
Science is such a valuable natural
phenomenon. The knowledge we gather is a beneficial way of
life. We need to know everything about ourselves and the
world. Science is important since it advocates us to learn how
we hear, smell, taste, feel, think, and move. It has assisted
us to master how humans breathe, how trees breathe. Does the
food we eat have high sugar or low sugar? What is in a tree’s
food? How does the earth and solar system exist and will it
continue? Science is the wisdom of nature and the universe. It
is the ultimate answer to all of our questions.
Science is great and you and I know that already.
One very special reason why I feel science is so important is
because it keeps me alive but more importantly, it has kept my
fourteen year old sister well. As a little baby, she had open
heart surgery and in two weeks she will have a pacemaker. I can
thank science for helping my sister feel better and be just like
me.

PS 50
I feel that all people are scientists because we have all had
the experience of wanting to understand why something happens or
how something works. Science is an important part of our
everyday life and it can always be found around us.
I think that the best way to understand why science
is so important, is to realize what live would belike without
science. Here are just a few examples of why science is such an
important part of our lives.
Without science, most of us would die at a young age
because we wouldn’t have medicines to treat diseases and
illnesses. We wouldn’t have lasers used in surgery. In face,
we wouldn’t have surgery at all because no one would understand
how the human body works or what is inside of it!
We would never know if we were dressing
appropriately for the weather. WE also wouldn’t know when
hurricanes or tornadoes are coming. Maybe we would be hiding
under our beds whenever it thundered or when it was lightening
because we wouldn’t understand why it happens.
Most of us live in homes with lights, television,
microwaves, video games, computers, and radios. These
wonderful inventions need electricity to work. We can thank
Benjamin Franklin for being interested in science and
discovering electricity.
In conclusion, I think the best part of science is
that there are endless possibilities in what we can learn and
discover in the future.
