 Teachers and their families are welcome to join us for a rockin’ time! Meet geologists, paleontologists, seismologist, and other earth scientists that can help you make this subject hands-on!

Staff can guide you in the museum and discuss future field trips or homework assignments, especially for middle and high students. FREE rock, fossil, and mineral specimens for classroom use  Specimen identification and help from real scientists.  Even bring samples from home.  Learn to use our free curriculum in the classroom.    Get help with lesson planning for earth science topics    Create arts and crafts about the Bay Area's Natural History to use in your classroom  Discover how and where to search for fossils with our staff paleontologists.    Become an expert in bone identification with our collections manager.    Build your own classroom activities with guidance from staff  Receive teaching materials from the USGS, NOAA, and the California Geological Survey. Gain access to online educational resources provided by the UC Museum of Paleontology and the UC Berkeley
