New Earthquake Exhibit and Lecture

Offical Opening  of Earthquake Hall
Time: 11am -12:30pm

David Haubert, Supervisor of Alameda County District 1 will officially open our new exhibit on the Trace of the Hayward in the East Bay.  This is the product of a grant from Vision 2026 to help public understand about hazards in the East Bay. We have duplicated the USGS map that is at Fremont Earthquake Exhibit  and now can be viewed on the long hallway in the museum. 

 Also view the "Debbie Dome" and see plates move before your eyes. Experience an earthquake on the Wieckowski Widescreen. Invitation.

 

 

Public Lecture:  Living in Earthqauke Country -  A View from Above

Time: 7pm-8pm  Come 15 minutes early and look at giant map and find your home
